Moving through the Forest Preserve at Burnidge, you cant help to notice the colorful purple of wild bergamot flowers standing out and blanketing the landscape. I looked for some flowers that were in perfect condition to photograph, which I didn't have to look for very long. Using my nikkor 18-70mm f/3.5-4.5 lens, I set up the tripod and camera, composed the wild bergamot flowers in frame and began shooting. Being outdoors enjoying the natural world really is uplifting to my soul. (514-18)
