PURPLE CONEFLOWERS

The wildflowers this year were beautiful, colorful and numerous throughout Wildflower Park. I was up and out the door to catch the sunrise and photograph the wildflowers before 5:00 am. As I was walking along the path, a heavy mist was about the park on this early morning and a nice sunrise never came to fruition. I focused my attention on the wildflowers as the morning brightened up. I noticed a purple cone flower plant nestled among the false sunflowers and thought that it was in perfect condition and needed to photograph this beautiful plant. I moved about with the tripod a bit isolating on this one flower to get a perfect shot that had a few drops of dew on the petals. (519-12)
